My other complaint is about Lotor’s plan.
I just think it could have been paced better. The pacing felt rushed in that part of the backstory, but I guess you could make the excuse that since the OG pilots were already a team before Voltron that they just had more synchronization. The OG pilots adapted to Voltron and the lions too quickly.
Like the lions basically made themselves and instantly bonded with the pilots. There were 2 things in this episode that bothered me though. It was especially nice to see that Alfor, Zarkon, and the rest were friends before the magical, mechanical lion ships. It really was nice to see how Team Voltron came to be.
